swaroplate Single-use neutral electrode
SWAROPLATE - electrodes are single-use grounding plates, so called Neutral-Electrodes, for HF-surgery. The advantages of SWAROPLATE Neutral Electrodes: - will stay in place - The adhesiveness of the foam border and of the conductive gel make sure that the electrode will not come off. This means that there is no danger of burnings with SWAROPLATE
- is ready to be used - Just remove the protective sheeting and apply the electrode on the prepared skin. There is no additional gel required!
- is highly flexible and features excellent skin compatibility - Gel and adhesive foam are tolerated even by the most sensitive skin. There is no gel left on the skin after the application
SWAROPLATE Neutral Electrodes - are compatible with the most commonly used HF-surgery devices
- Manufacturer’s Declaration regarding compatibility for the HF-devices of: ERBE, MARTIN, VALLEYLAB, BERCHTOLD, AESCULAP
- meet the requirements of AAMI HF 18:2001, American National Standard, Electrosurgical Devices and are suited for all standard HF-surgery devices
- the maximum temperature rise under load according to AAMI HF 18 is < 3° C
- the impedance is approximately 1 Ohm (adult electrodes)
- the shelf life is at least 24 months in the sealed bag
All of our types have the same base material: PE - foam, which is approximately 1mm thick, with a medical grade acrylic adhesive There are different types available: for adults, children and infants / prematures - each one-piece and split types and with preattached cable Upon inquiry we are at any time willing to do special types for you! |
